Scotland - North East Coast

Our scenic route took us beside the Dornoch Firth and then the Cromarty Firth. We were amazed at how many harbour seals and grey seals were lazing about in the sun amongst the seaweed in the shallows of these sea inlets. Hundreds of seals lie along these sandbanks. The Cromarty Firth is also a well known place for spotting dolphins - maybe when the tide is in.
